   arr, vodacon, emptyn, cellsuck they’re all the same when it comes to customer service!! i have – well, had – a contract with cellc. it was taken out on my fathers name since i jsut finished studying at the time and wasnt working fulltime yet. after having contract signed and all, i was told that i could have the phone before the 25th Dec (this was bout 2 yrs ago) – after hassling the cellc shop for days eventually got my phone but sim card took weeks before it was activated – already, alarm bells were ringing and all i wanted was out of this shitty 2yr contract, which of course i was told would have serious implications blah blah blah. a few months later, permanently employed, i requested to have the contract moved on to my name. after faxing/emailing the required docs REPEATEDLY, nothing was done. they never even change the banking details!!! so i gave up and figured it would be less of a hassle to just leave things as they were. then guess what? my phone gets stolen. turns out – the insurance was never activated!! admin error. bleh. by this time however, i was using another simcard (diff network) in my phone, so i still had the contract sim. (by the way – the insurance would only have payed out if your contract sim & contract phone was stolen.) so i start using my cellc number again, in another phone. phone gets lost, i call in to have the number blocked. phone gets returned, i call in to have the number unblocked – but uhuh not so simple – because the contract is not in my name, i could not have the number reactivated. the only person that can have the number reactivated is the contract holder, who was my father (who did not want to be bothered with this nonsense again). so i explain that i’ve been trying for months to take over the contract, but nothing has been done. so again, i follow the procedure to try and get the contract on to my name – resending all the documentation as before (i suffer from battered client syndrome – maybe just maybe this time it will be different )…theeeen when i called back to get some feedback as to when everything will be done, i get told that nothing can be done until the number is unblocked and has been reactivated. i felt like i was on pianosa and there was no doc daneeka to explain jackshit! arrr, now im all wound up again, why did i get into this?! i need a drink!
